This revelation was made by the author and royal biographer Robert Hardman.
Author and royal biographer Robert Hardman has written about this revelation in a new article.
The new article was shared with the Daily Mail and spoke about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s attitude towards guests who paid almost £120 (AUD215) each for the opportunity to meet the royal family.
According to Mr. Hardman’s article, “When the couple arrived, giant screens were set up in the atrium to prevent anyone from taking a photograph or even looking at the couple, who were quickly ushered into an adjoining room.”
“‘It was sad,’ says one benefactor. “It felt more like a witness protection program than a real fundraiser,” said another at the time.
“At the end of 2018 more and more leaks ended up in the newspapers.”

“Among friends and fans of the pregnant Dukes, all of this would be cited as evidence of a program of bullying, favoritism (towards the Cambridges) and an undercurrent of covert racism within the press.”
Before closing, he added, “What might be taken for granted in American celebrity circles was simply at odds with what the public expects of royalty.”
