Prince Charles Highlighted The Impacts of Climate Change in His Latest Article
Prince Charles highlighted the impact of the climate change in his latest article for the Daily Mail.
As per the official Twitter account of the future king and his wife on Saturday, the Prince of Wales mentioned in his article the increase in extreme weather events as a result of climate change.
“Our planet is in crisis and wherever you are, no country is immune,” the tweet read.
The article comes days after devastating fires devastated much of Turkey and Greece.

In the past two weeks, fires have damaged tens of thousands of hectares of forests in Turkey’s Mediterranean and Aegean provinces, killing eight people and forcing thousands of people, including tourists, to flee.
Similar damage was seen in drone before and after footage of the village of Bayir and the tourist center of Turunc, also in Mugla province, where Marmaris and Bodrum, another major tourist center, are located.
Strong winds, low humidity and temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius contributed to the spread of the fires. 15 planes, 64 helicopters and 5,250 people participated in the extinction work, Pakdemirli said.
The United Nations Climate Change Panel issued a dire warning Monday that the world is dangerously close to uncontrollable warming and that people are ‘clearly’ to blame for rising greenhouse gas levels.
