Prince Andrew Lawsuit: US Judge Holds Preliminary Hearing On 13th September
District Judge Lewis Kaplan is expected to hold an initial pretrial conference on 13th September in a trial against Prince Andrew accused by Virginia Giuffre of raping her as a minor.
Giuffre’s trial server confirmed that Prince Andrew received indictment documents from the security chief at his home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor on August 27th.
The prince recently visited Balmoral, where his mother, Queen Elizabeth, spends her annual summer vacation.
In a lawsuit filed in federal court in New York, Virginia Giuffre alleges that the prince “sexually assaulted and assaulted her” at the age of 17, causing “serious and permanent” harm.

The prince said in a 2019 BBC interview that he cannot remember meeting Giuffre and has denied his sexual abuse allegation.
Andrew, 61, is one of the most prominent people connected to Epstein, who was accused by Manhattan federal prosecutors in July 2019 of sexually exploiting dozens of girls and women.
