PMC Provides MDCAT 2021 Fee Subsidy For Students

The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) announced on Sunday that the MDCAT 2021 fee subsidy will be provided, particularly for Pakistani students.

According to a PMC official, the mdcat fees are significantly lower than the cost of other fully enabled and automated computer tests elsewhere in the world.

He said the cost also includes online courseware, a practice or mock exam with the ability to more automatically email applicants’ results to medical schools via email, and an automated scheduling service that allows candidates to track the time flexibly to plan or reschedule space for their exam to best suit them.

The official said the MDCAT 2021 test will be a computerized exam that uses the highest international standards for testing and integrity using artificial intelligence (AI) -based solution for paper configuration and analysis.

He said the question bank’s security systems and testing systems will be complemented by facial recognition and identity testing systems in the centers.

The official added that there will be a three and a half hour computerized exam of 210 questions, the results of which will be available to the candidate within 30 minutes of the exam being completed. The official said the MDCAT results will be emailed directly to students and institutions where the student is applying for admission to a medical or dental degree and the services include exam fees.

Computerized entry test centers are located in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, DG Khan, Sialkot, Peshawar, Swat, Abbottabad, DI Khan, Quetta, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, and Gilgit with international centers in the United States, Britain, Europe, the Gulf, Africa and Australia depending on the geographic concentration of registrations once they are completed, he added.

The official said the MDCAT 2021 is an international standardized exam that makes it comparable to overseas exams around the world and follows international best practices that ensure rigorous merit and eliminate any past issues that normally arise with a paper pen-based entry test.
