“A subsidy of Rs 5,000 crore has been provided for these loans,” he said.

Kisan Dost Scheme Offer Used Tractors

The government has chosen to import used tractors to offer a cheaper alternative to more expensive locally-made tractors as the local tractor industry has a monopoly and interested parties have refused to cooperate with the government, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
