The Pakistani government has announced that it will introduce the federal budget worth 8 trillion rupees for the budget 2021-2022 on the next week, June 11th.
According to the budget document, the size of the economy will reach 52.057 billion rupees. The economic growth rate in the next budget will be 4.8%.

In addition, Rs.3,060 billion of the budget 2021-22 will be spent on loans and interest. The budget deficit is expected to be 2,915 billion rupees.
According to budget documents, Rs 900 billion will be allocated to the annual development program. The provincial development budget will be in the order of 1,000 billion rupees.
About 530 billion rupees should be made available for subsidies. The defense budget is expected to rise to over 1400 billion rupees.

In the upcoming budget 2021-22, tax revenue is expected to rise to 5,820 billion rupees. It is important to specify here that the budget non-tax revenue should be around Rs.1,420 billion.
