Pakistani Govt Announces Fees For E-Passports
After approving the issuance of machine-readable passports (MRPs) in Pakistan, the federal government has finalized the filing fee schedule, according to 24News.
The Fee Schedule for Diplomatic, Official, and Ordinary Groups has been published. When your current passport expires, ordinary citizens will also receive MRPs.
MRPs will only be issued by Islamabad in the initial phase. The timing of the launch of the service in other cities across the country will be announced later.
Fees can be paid through the Pakistan Electronic Passport Payment Service portal using the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), mobile app, MobiCash, or EasyPaisa.
These are the registration fees for the different categories:
Normal Registration:
