Pakistan Opens International Domestic Flights

Pakistan has opened international domestic flights after a drop in coronavirus cases.

As per the statement from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), the number of arriving travelers increased from 4,000 to 8,000 per day as of June 15. Authorities have also increased flights from the UK, Europe, Canada, China, and Malaysia by 40%.

Meanwhile, the cancellation of flights by various foreign airlines annoyed travelers and caused financial losses for those who booked hotels according to their itinerary.

This situation has forced the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to warn air operators.

The NCOC has also developed a comprehensive system to contain the spread of the coronavirus, which includes rapid testing and quarantine of travelers upon arrival in Pakistan.
