The government of Pakistan has introduced a program that will teach IT skills to 200,000 young people annually.
Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal shared this during a recent ceremony. He emphasized that the initiative is designed to prepare young individuals to contribute to the country’s growing digital economy.
The Minister mentioned the potential of promoting Pakistan’s art, culture, and heritage on a global scale by tapping into the creativity of its youth.
Speaking to journalists afterward about ongoing political discussions, Ahsan Iqbal mentioned that the government is making every effort to ensure the talks are successful.
When asked about the resurgence of terrorism, he attributed it to policies of the previous PTI government. He assured that the government is committed to addressing this challenge and is confident in its ability to counter terrorism, as it did between 2013 and 2017.
On the topic of Afghanistan, the Minister reaffirmed the capability of the Pakistan Army to respond effectively to any threats from across the border.
