The KPK govt has decided to allow Facebook to monetize in Pakistan. Facebook has been in the country for a long time but has yet to finalize its monetization policy for Pakistan due to local restrictions.
The new ruling aims to enable people to make money through social media in Pakistan, which would prove useful for millions of people in the country.
This resolution is the result of the MPA Ziaullah Bangash of PTI calling on the government to take advantage of the missed opportunity to monetize Facebook.
He also revealed that the National Assembly’s official spokesman had previously met with Facebook officials to discuss the matter.

As mentioned earlier, if this resolution is passed, it should enable millions of Pakistani users to make money directly from Facebook. This should be especially helpful these days when most of us are stuck in our homes due to the pandemic. A large number of people have not lost their jobs thanks to COVID either.
It is not known when this resolution will be adopted or if it is likely to be. However, we will update this section as soon as new information becomes available.
