No Student Will Fail This Year in Sindh, Education Department

Sindh’s Department of Education has decided to give students who fail optional subjects a passing grade while the exams of classes 1st to 8th will be held this year at their respective schools.

A meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education was held, chaired by Minister of Education Saeed Ghani, attended by the Minister of Education, the School Secretary, the University Secretary, and other officials.

The meeting discussed the dates of the exams for grades IX and XI and it was decided that the ninth exam should be held immediately after July 10th and the 11th exams in August immediately after the 12th class exams.

The assembly decided to hold exams in elective courses only. The results will be published 45 days after the exams.

The Steering Committee also decided to hold hands-on exams for the students. At the meeting, it was decided that the practical exams in Enrollment and Inter will be held after the theoretical exams and the practical exams will be held in their respective schools and colleges.

It was decided that failed optional subjects would be awarded a passing grade, while grades in compulsory subjects would be awarded on the basis of grades in the electives.

This year the exams will take place from the 1st to the 8th in schools, which are decided by the school itself.
