Nestor Hernandez is the suspect in the Dallas hospital shooting. He is in custody and authorities have confirmed that two employees, including a nurse, have been shot dead.

Two Employees Killed in Dallas Hospital Shooting
At approximately 11:15 a.m. M., Dallas officials responded to reports of a shooting at the Methodist Hospital on the 1400 block of N. Beckley Avenue, according to preliminary reports.
Two hospital workers were shot, including a nurse, a statement confirmed.
The hospital said a Methodist Health System police officer confronted the suspect at the scene and shot and injured him. He was then arrested, stabilized, and transferred to another local hospital.
What Was The Police Investigation Report?
Upon arrival, police found two staff members shot dead near the hospital’s birthing and delivery area; Sources told the WFAA, Rebecca Lopez.
Police have not released any information about what led to the shooting.
The Dallas Police Department’s Homicide Unit and Special Investigations Unit are on hand to assist in the investigation.

Suspect Arrested
Methodist Health System police arrested Hernandez on capital murder charges.
According to Dallas police, Hernandez was on probation for aggravated robbery and had an active ankle monitor at the time of the shooting.
Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia called the shooting “a heinous failure of our criminal justice system.”
