The influencer Nenobia Washington, also known as “The Queen of Brooklyn”, appears to have died in a building, at least that is what police investigations have shown thus far.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that police and paramedics responded around 7:40 p.m. Saturday and found Nenobia unconscious and unconscious outside an apartment building in New York.

‘Queen of Brooklyn’ Suicide
As per the family members, Washington, an Instagram influencer known as “The Queen of Brooklyn,” has died.
“Nenobia, also known as the queen of Brooklyn / B.K. The list of sisters of Tidal Wave has confirmed to me that she passed away,” reads a tweet on the Rap Alert account.
A person who claimed to be the influencer’s cousin later shared a post that apparently confirmed Washington’s death.
“It’s a sad, sad day,” wrote Dupree Frederick. “I can’t believe I’m writing to my RIP / Lil Cuzzin / Lil sis Zenobia RIP family. We will really miss you, God bless your soul,” she added.
Her Professional Career
The Brooklyn Queen was known for her comedic antics on social media, but her 2015 interview of her with HotNewHipHop brought her to Instagram fame. In the clip, she humorously predicts that Hillary Clinton will become president, denounces ISIS, and expresses her love for Brooklyn’s own JAY-Z.
When she was asked if she knew about the TIDAL streaming service, she replied, “This is my shit. I fuck with JAY-Z.”
“JAY-Z made all the money from him. JAY-Z is not Illuminati. You hate blacks who hate JAY, if he wants to be Illuminati drop it, but JAY-Z is a real black,” Washington continued before playing and rapping on Hov’s Imaginary Players.
When news of Washington’s death hit the internet, TIDAL was one of many who paid tribute to the social media star. “Our hearts go out to BKTIDALWAVE and her family today,” they wrote in a tweet. “Rest in peace the queen of Brooklyn.”
GoFundMe
Details of Washington’s death were not released, but rumors have it that she disappeared the day before her death. She leaves behind a son who is believed to have started a GoFundMe to raise $8,000 for her mother’s funeral expenses.
