Miranda Baker is a tiktoker who claims she took Brian Laundrie with her while hitchhiking alone in Wyoming the last time they saw his girlfriend Gabby Petito.
Miranda Baker said she and her boyfriend took Laundrie to Grand Teton National Park on 29th August, four days after Petito called his family to tell them she was in the park, and four days after his last Instagram photo before disappearing.

Miranda Baker Video On Picking Up Brian Laundrie
In a series of four TikTok videos that just appeared, Miranda Baker claims that around 5:45 p.m. she picked up a hitchhiker who identified her as Laundrie on the way to Jackson Hole, which she called ‘Jackson’.
Later around 6:09 pm when she mentioned “Jackson Hole” he asked to leave her, she said about her alleged interaction.
“When I said Jackson Hole, he got restless,” she said in one of the videos.
“It seemed like I had to get out; he was a little nervous. And then he got weird.”
She claims they left the hitchhiker near the Jackson roadblock and crossed the street into a crowded parking lot to continue hitchhiking.
The TikTok user said that she spoke to the FBI and other law enforcement agencies about the alleged dating, but the FBI has not confirmed that they spoke to the woman.
Other law enforcement agencies have made inquiries to the FBI.
The alleged reunion is said to have taken place just the day before, before Petito’s mother was born on 1st January.
On 1st September, Laundrie returned to Florida alone in Petito’s registered van.
Miranda Baker said the hitchhiker she thinks is Laundrie initially offered “about 200 USD” for the ride, but got in the backseat of the jeep for free.
Gabby Petito Disappearance
The family reported Petito’s disappearance 12 days later.
Gabby Petito’s mother, Nicole Schmidt, told WSFB that she usually video calls with her daughter three times a week but she told CBS News’s Jericka Duncan that the last time they had a video chat was on August 23 or 24.
Schmidt said the last time she texted her daughter was Aug. 30, but she’s not sure if the messages were actually from Petito.
