An autopsy revealed that he died of a serious head injury.
Authorities said Hedgepeth’s body was found standing in a pool of blood near a shirt-pulled bed in an off-campus apartment.
Police also found a note on a snack bag.
He said “I’m not stupid,” followed by the words “bitch” and “jealous,” authorities said.
Police said investigators found DNA from semen collected with a sexual assault kit and other locations at the scene.
In 2016, Parabon NanoLabs created a composite sketch of a suspect based entirely on DNA, not eyewitnesses.
Depending on the blade, the man on the blade is described as having olive skin, hazel or brown eyes, black hair, and little or no freckles.
