Meghan Markle Has Been Accused Of Wanting To Become Famous in The UK
The author of a new British family book says Meghan Markle has basked in the spotlight and embraced fame after marrying Prince Harry.
Speaking to Fox News, Valentine Low, author of ‘Brokers: Intrigue, Ambition, and the Power Players Behind the House of Windsor’, said: “The Duchess was ‘less interested in cutting ribbons and opening hospitals and all that stuff downright boring’ and members of the royal family often have to do that.”
He said, “I think they thought she wanted fame, she wanted flattery.”
The author said: “Though enjoying the attention, Meghan saw no point in all these walks and shook hands with countless strangers.”
Valentine Low added: “Meghan Markle,” thought she was going to be Britain’s Beyoncé.
In a scene from the Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan, Meghan receives a text message from Beyoncé.
The Duchess of Sussex then read the message to Harry.
