Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Want To Thaw The Ice With King Charles And Prince William
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly wanted to reconcile with the royal family, but not before the couple’s show and Harry’s controversial memoir.
The couple’s highly-anticipated Netflix series and memoir, originally filled with fireworks and truth bombs, appears to be launching with some changes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex set out to thaw the ice after their parents became royals and were separated.
Meghan and Harry had hoped to reconcile with Queen Elizabeth within the next year, but the Queen’s death made that wish impossible. The two also face a make-or-break television test in the form of a flying documentary for Netflix.
According to news reports, Diana’s youngest son, Harry, has always been critical of his father, King Charles, and stepmother, the Queen Consort. Harry and Meghan will seek a truce with estranged members of the royal family after the show and book.
And Harry sought last-minute changes to his lucrative book, fearing it “won’t work”. And just last month, reports surfaced that the duke had asked his publisher to back down on a series of explosive allegations in which he criticized his family in an upcoming memoir.
