Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has introduced a new initiative to provide free 3-marla plots to needy people.
During the launch of Zehra Homes/Maskan Ravi in Kala Shah Kaku, she personally handed over allotment letters and keys to 100 families. She toured the site to see the facilities firsthand and expressed her satisfaction with the quality of the homes and the amenities provided.

The project, located at Mouza Nehra Pur on Kala Khatai Road in Lahore, includes 100 houses constructed in the first phase. Each home covers 400 square feet and is designed with two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a courtyard.
The homes are built using Tareen EPS Smart Panel Technology, which makes them earthquake-resistant, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly. Each house comes with a 5-kilowatt solar system, ensuring reliable power. The community is equipped with a range of facilities, including an RO plant for clean drinking water, a school, a playground, a mosque, and a dispensary.

This housing scheme is a collaborative effort between the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and EPS Solutions Pakistan. During the event, a documentary was screened to showcase the contributions of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the projects undertaken by the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
