Basketball star Tristan Thompson had an affair with personal trainer Maralee Nichols. After Nichols filed a complaint alleging she was pregnant with his son, the case came to light.
According to documents received from DailyMail.com, the baby will be born on 3rd December 2021.
As per court documents, the baby was conceived during Thompson’s 30th birthday celebrations in Houston, Texas in March when he was with Khloe Kardashian. with whom he shares a three-year-old daughter.
Personal trainer Maralee Nichols is suing the Sacramento Kings player for child support and reimbursement of medical bills and pregnancy-related expenses.
According to the text messages in the lawsuit, Thompson said he would “not be involved at all” and that Nichols would end up receiving little money as he intended to retire from the NBA.
“You know how I feel. My feelings haven’t changed at all. I won’t be involved at all. By the way, if you think this baby is going to make you money. That’s totally wrong,” Thompson wrote.
“You know I’ll retire after this season. So that’s all an unemployed person needs on a monthly basis. This is Texas, so it’ll only be a few hundred dollars.”
“So you’d better take this 75k I’m offering because you don’t get that with a child with an unemployed parent.” All you have is an unrelated baby with an unrelated parent and a few hundred dollars a month in maintenance.
