Major UAE Airline Launches Discounted Flights To Pakistan
Wizz Air Abu Dhabi, one of the UAE’s low-cost airlines, plans to start operations in Pakistan after receiving federal government approval. It will reportedly offer discounted flights into the country, with tickets costing around AED179.
As reported by the Khaleej Times, the airline is currently revising its regulatory framework for entering Pakistan and India. In terms of development, Johan Eidhagen, Director General (MD) of Wizz Air Abu Dhabi said they are keeping an eye on the South Asian market due to extremely high demand.
He confirmed that the routes will be released soon after the regulatory framework changes are complete, but noted that in addition to serving new destinations, the company is considering adding more flights to the current routes.
Johan also advised people to join the Wizz Discount Club to take advantage of special flight deals after the airline started operations in Pakistan and India. He noted that some prices are lower than AED179 but only for club members.
Johan described Wizz Air Abu Dhabi as the “discount king”, adding that UAE residents love special offers. He urged them to subscribe to the Wizz Air newsletter, which will provide them with the latest sales and promotions news.
