Maddy Audet is a New Hampshire woman who is paralyzed from the waist down after a man allegedly assaulted and knocked her out at a pit bull concert, family members and police have said.
Audet was dancing with friends at the Sunday show at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford when a man “walked up to her and hit her so hard” that she passed out, as per the collection of online funds organized by his brother.
“All because this coward thought she had drunk her drink,” the website says.
“Maddy is now in the hospital with no feeling or movement under her waist.”

Maddy Audet de Keene told the Boston Globe he overheard a woman accusing one of her sister’s roommates of stealing a drink for just three songs in the rap star’s performance on her “I Feel Good” tour “with rapper Iggy Azalea”.
Audet said he then offered to buy a new drink to help defuse the situation.
“I went in between and said, ‘Hey, that’s okay, we’re going to get you another drink,'” Audet told the newspaper Thursday from his hospital bed.
“Apparently this guy didn’t like what I was saying.”
Audet’s alleged assailant then jumped over three seats and hit her with an uppercut, instantly knocking her out, she recalls.
“He hit me right under the jaw,” Audet continued.
“I flew about five feet … it was like being in one of those superhero movies.”

Witnesses later told Audet that she was attacked again after being brutally knocked out.
“There was a girl above me who threw whales on my head four or five times,” he told Concord Hospital’s Globe, ahead of a planned move to Tufts Medical Center in Boston on Thursday.
“Right now, I can’t feel anything from the waistline,” said Audet, an aspiring orthopedic veterinarian who graduated from Keene State College in May.
