Lyra McKee was a journalist killed in a riot in Derry’s Creggan neighborhood in April 2019.
Four young men were arrested in Derry by investigators investigating the murder of journalist Lyra McKee two years ago.
The men, aged 19, 20, 21, and 33, were arrested on Wednesday morning under the terrorism law and taken to the room of the serious crime at Musgrave police station, where they will then be questioned.

Journalist Lyra McKee Killed
On April 18, 2019, McKee was shot dead during riots in the Creggan district of Derry, Northern Ireland.
Violence erupted after police seized ammunition from dissidents ahead of the Easter Rising commemorative parades taking place in the region this weekend.
The unrest was centered on Fanad Drive. The youth dropped petrol bombs and burned two vehicles. An armed man then fired up to twelve shots at the police, police said.
McKee, who was on Fanad Drive near an armored police Land Rover, was shot in the head.
A police cell phone and CCTV footage show a masked gunman, believed to be a member of the New IRA, opening fire with a pistol.
McKee was taken to the Altnagelvin area hospital by police in an armored Land Rover, where she later died. Police blamed Republican dissidents for his death.
The last time a journalist was killed in the UK was the murder of Martin O’Hagan in 2001.
4 Suspects Arrested
Investigators investigating the death of journalist Lyra McKee in Londonderry have arrested four men.
The men, aged 19, 20, 21, and 33, were arrested on Wednesday under the terrorism law, police said.
PSNI Detective Superintendent Jason Murphy said the arrests were the culmination of a detailed two-year investigation into the journalist’s murder and the events leading up to it.
“The local community has assisted the Police in Northern Ireland during this lengthy investigation and I would like to thank them for their continued support and patience during this phase of the investigation,” he said.
A man has previously been charged with the murder of Ms. McKee and another man has been charged with riot and related crimes.
