Lisa Loring, who starred in the classic 1960s sitcom The Addams Family on Wednesday, died Saturday.

Loring’s agent, Chris Carbaugh of C and V Promotions, confirmed in a statement to CBS News that Loring died “surrounded by her family” on Saturday. Lisa was a very loving mother, grandmother, and friend with incredible stories and lifelong experiences.

“She brought to life one of the most iconic characters in Hollywood history who is still celebrated today. Lisa loved sharing her memories and meeting all her fans from all over the world. She will be greatly missed.”

The publication states that he was six years old when he started in comedy.

It also stated that Loring died at a hospital in Burbank, California, from “complications of a stroke caused by high blood pressure,” citing his daughter, Vanessa Foumberg.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Loring reprised the role in the 1977 TV movie Halloween with the New Addams Family. Loring played a young, Wednesday Addams, from 1964-1966 and also appeared in As the World Turns.

Loring’s work as Wednesday Addams had recently resurfaced following Jenna Ortega’s portrayal of the iconic character on the Netflix series. Loring was the original Wednesday of the first live-action adaptation of Charles Addams’ New York cartoons. The show produced 64 episodes between two seasons from 1964 to 1966.

After The Addams Family, Loring, who was born Lisa Ann DeCinces on February 16, 1958, in Kwajelein, Marshall Islands, made guest appearances on various shows including The Phyllis Diller Show, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E., Fantasy Island, Barnaby Jones and As the World Turns, where he had a recurring role as Cricket Montgomery.
