Lahore Beats All Other Cities in CSS Exams
Lahore, which is considered a hub for CSS hopefuls, surpassed the candidates from all other cities including Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, and Rawalpindi, etc. during the CSS 2021 exams held on February 18-26, 2021.
39,650 people took the exams, of which 17,240 took the exams and only 2.11% passed.
Out of a total of 39,650, about 10,083 candidates were from Lahore, of whom 4,509 sat the exam and 159 passed, surpassing all other cities. Islamabad had the second-highest number of applicants passing CSS 2021 with 41.
Candidates from Karachi placed third in the 2021 CSS exam, with 1,742 taking the exam and 33 passing 2021. A total of 2,564 Rawalpindi candidates registered for the written exam, with 1,122 passing and only 21 passing. From Peshawar, 19 candidates passed the written part.
In addition, 18 and 17 candidates respectively from Hyderabad and Multan and 12 from Faisalabad and Gujranwala qualified for the written examination. Also, 10 from Bahawalpur, eight from Sargodha, four from Sukkur, three from DG Khan, and two from DI Khan, Abbottabad, and Quetta passed the exam while only one from Gilgit and Larkana passed.
