Kuwait Issues Big News Of Visa Change For Old Expats
The Public Manpower Authority (PAM), a labor inspectorate in Kuwait, has decided to revise the visa requirements for expatriates over 60 who have completed upper secondary or higher education.
PAM will allow them to relocate to the private sector. The changes take effect Wednesday and will allow foreign residents who work for the government, the public sector, a resident’s dependents, or business or industrial investors or partners to obtain private sector residency.
The same can also be done by those who have self-funded residency. Previously, there was a total ban on residency renewal in Kuwait.
