KPK Govt Cancelled Winter Vacations At Summer Zone Schools
“Following the 2019 CORONA Pandemic, there are not enough working days for the 2022-23 academic session to complete the courses in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa schools. For this reason, it was decided to suspend the winter holidays in schools in the province’s summer area until an unusual change in weather conditions occurs,” the notification says.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has scrapped the 2022 winter break for schools in the province’s summer zone. The decision was reportedly made due to a lack of time to complete coursework following the closure of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, the CP government has shortened the winter break for schools in the province’s winter zone, which will be closed from January 1 to February 15, 2022.
The decision was made in the best interest of the students and to fill the large gap between school days, the statement said.
