The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to extend winter vacations for all public and private colleges and universities in the province.
The Higher Education Department confirmed that these institutions will now remain closed until January 5. This update follows the recent announcement of longer winter breaks for schools in the region, which are now set to reopen on January 7 instead of the earlier planned date.

Originally, the winter break for schools and universities was scheduled to end on December 31. However, the extension was made due to the ongoing cold weather, prioritizing the well-being of students and staff.
