Reported Missing
The Algonquin Police Department announced at 2:33 p.m. m. on Sunday, 4th December 2022 that they are asking the public for help locating a missing woman after the woman’s family called 9-1-1 at approximately 11 a.m. m. on Sunday morning to report her missing.
Kimberly Koerner, 52, was last seen around 9 am on Sunday morning. walking from Jewel Food Store, 1501 East Algonquin Road in Algonquin, according to the Algonquin Police Department.
He was going to Jewel-Osco to run an errand, but a report says he never entered the Jewel-Osco store. However, her photo was later captured by a surveillance camera south of Jewel-Osco.
There is also an announcement from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office that around 9:30 a.m., a security camera spotted Kimberly Koerner on Sandbloom Road and Souwanas Trail south of Algonquin Jewel-Osco. M. on Sunday, 4th December 2022.
Body Found in Fox River
The Algonquin Police Department announced at 12:04 p.m. m. on Monday, 5th December 2022 that a body matching Kimberly Koerner’s description was found. The Kane County Coroner’s Office obtained the body for official identification.

A body was found around 8:17 a.m. on Monday 5th December 2022 at Fox River near Bolz Road and Williams Road in the civil parish of Dundee near Carpentersville.
A citizen reported that a body was found in the Fox River near the intersection of Bolz Road and Williams Road at the south end of the riverside parking lot. A caller reported the discovery, and firefighters and divers responded. Firefighters and divers from Carpentersville recovered Kimberly Koerner’s body from the Fox River around 8:40 a.m.
