Kim Kardashian Says ‘Marriage’ To Kanye West Is ‘Over’
American television personality Kim Kardashian wants to end her marriage to Kanye West as soon as possible.
In her latest filing for divorce after the first documents in February, Kim made her position clear and made it clear that she wanted to part with West at all costs.
“[Kardashian] has been trying to reach an agreement this way since she filed her marriage dissolution in February 2021. [Kardashian] and her attorney have contacted [West] and her attorney several times to move this deal forward to a speedy and amicable solution. [West] did not respond,” Kardashian quoted in the documents, according to PEOPLE.
“The marriage of the parties has irrevocably broken. [Kardashian] doesn’t want to marry [West] anymore,” the documents read.
“There is simply no compelling reason not to grant a branch and civil status motion on this matter.”
Kardashian continues in her case: “There is no question that the marriage of the parties is no longer viable. [Kardashian] has no desire to reconcile with [West] and wants their marriage to end. This leads to the irreparable collapse of the marriage” and there is no way to save the marriage through counseling or any other means. There is no point in maintaining technical marital status between [West] and [Kardashian] and there is no need to maintain the legal relationship.

She adds, “Irreconcilable differences have existed and continue to exist between [West] and myself that have irreparably broken our marriage. No efforts to seek advice or reconciliation will be of value at this point,” she said.
“[West] and I deserve the opportunity to build a new life. So please grant my application to branch and terminate our marital status,” concluded Kardashian.
