Keith Melvin Moses was arrested on 22nd February for allegedly killing three people and shooting five others near Orlando, Florida.
Orange County Sheriff John Mina said the 19-year-old was allegedly a known gang member.

He is 19 years old and has a history of arrests that began when he was just 14 years old.
Orlando Shooting Suspect Arrested
On the night of 23rd February, Keith Moses was arrested on charges of killing a woman, a television journalist, and a girl.
These included arrests for robbery, theft, armed robbery, and domestic violence, according to NBC News.
He was a known gang member, authorities say, and while Orange County Sheriff John Mina says they don’t believe the shootings are connected to the gang, they also don’t think there are any other explanations as to why happened.
On Wednesday night, a prosecutor named Monique H. Worrell explained why she was allowed to take to the streets.
She said, “There was a lot of talks, ‘Well, why was he on the street?'”
“Florida law prohibits me from discussing the details of a juvenile detention … but I will say that juvenile detention does not count as a conviction.”
Police Investigation Report
The shooting reportedly began around 11 a.m. Wednesday when Nathacha Augustin, 38, and a friend were hanging out in a car.
According to the arrest warrant, Moïse appeared “on the floor” and they offered to take him with them.
The friend claimed that after getting in the car, he was sitting behind Augustin when he heard a loud bang about 30 seconds later and realized Augustin was bleeding, deputies told NBC.
According to the arrest warrant, Moses fled on foot when the friend stopped the car and called 911.
Sheriff Mina later reported that Moses returned to the scene and shot the two reporters when they arrived at the scene around 4 a.m.
Spectrum News 13 reporter Dylan Lyons died and photojournalist Jesse Walden was hospitalized in critical condition.
Moses then allegedly entered a nearby house, where he is accused of shooting dead 9-year-old T’yonna Major and her mother.
The mother is said to be in critical condition and the child has died.
Moïse was charged at the scene of the murder of Nathacha Augustin.
During a press conference on Thursday, February 23, 2023, Sheriff Mina expressed his confidence that Moïse would be charged with the additional crimes.
The suspect is reportedly refusing to speak to the police.
