Kate Middleton’s Moving Nod To The Queen And Prince Philip At Their First Public Meeting in Windsor
Prince William and Kate Middleton visited Windsor Castle on Thursday. On Monday, the royal couple met with volunteers and responders involved in the Queen’s Promise Service at St George’s Chapel.
In her first public appearance after Her Majesty’s funeral, the new Princess of Wales gave a subtle nod to the late Duke of Edinburgh, leaving royal fans in awe.
On Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Wales met with those who helped organize the Queen’s engagement service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Guildhall.
Kate, 40, wore the same Dolce & Gabbana coat when she met volunteers and staff at Windsor Guildhall.
She wore the same coat on her first engagement after Prince Philip’s funeral in April 2021. The long black collarless coat with two rows of gold buttons down the front was paired with an elegant pair of pearl earrings.
William and Kate were dressed in black as they continue to observe the royal mourning period, which lasts until Monday.
