Kate Middleton Reveals The Monarchy is in ‘Good Hands’
Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, surprised a reporter this week with her hands-on approach, proving the monarchy is in “perfect hands”.
Matthew Syed, a journalist, told how he attended the Commonwealth Games with his young son Ted on Tuesday. He told of a sweet experience of unexpectedly meeting the future queen.
The reporter said he was in the toilet in first class on the train to Birmingham when he heard the young man chatting with a woman.
He added that “judging by the laughter they’re having a good time.”
As Syed exited the bathroom, she said she thanked the woman before realizing she was the future queen’s consort.
She added that when she later asked her son if he knew who she was, he said no, but she was “very nice.”

Syed wrote in The Times: “The Duchess had no idea she was speaking to a journalist’s son, so I suppose that reflects her character and sense of duty. The monarchy is in good hands.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoyed an outing with Princess Charlotte at the games earlier this week for a busy day of sports.
