Kate Middleton is all ready to set the new history
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is poised to make history as Queen Elizabeth is seriously considering her for a prestigious role.
According to a Daily Mail report, Kate Middleton is the next Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.
The Duchess will replace Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his military titles in January.
She would be the regiment’s first female colonel in 80 years, since the Queen, then Princess Elizabeth, took the post in 1942.
Kate Middleton will go down in history when the Queen honors her as the first woman to be made Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.
The Daily Mail, citing a royal source, reported: “This is being seriously considered.”

The royal source has confirmed that Kate Middleton will replace the Queen at the Sovereign’s Parade at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
There had also previously been reports that the Grenadier Guards had “unofficially requested” to have Kate Middleton as their colonel.
