Kate Middleton wanted to cooperate with Meghan Markle on the tense text exchange, with Dr. Lillian Glass, an expert on human behavior and body language.
The text messages were published in Prince Harry’s recent book, Spare.
The Duke of Sussex said the exchange left his wife sobbing on the floor. Prince Harry wrote that Kate wrote to his wife: “Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on at home.”
According to express.co.uk, the text Kate sent read: “Charlotte’s dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on at home.”
Meghan replied: “Okay and I told you the seamstress has been here since 8 am. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have her changed as other mothers do?”
Express.co.uk reported that Harry said Prince William’s wife had suggested that all the dresses be re-made.
Meghan replied: “I don’t know what else to say. If the dress doesn’t fit you, please take Charlotte to Ajay. She’s been waiting all day.”
Kate, the Duke claimed, responded by saying, “Fine.”
Prince Harry wrote of the exchange between his wife and sister-in-law: “It was unbearable but temporary. Kate didn’t mean it, I (Meghan) said.”
dr Lillian Glass told the Express that she saw the post and thought, “This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. It’s childish, childish, and stupid.”
“Kate wanted to cooperate. You know, when she said the clothes needed to be made, even the tailor said yes, all the clothes needed to be made. It was very, very silly.”
