Justine Gross was a Penn State student and a former high school cheerleader who dumped eleven stories into a garbage dump after allegedly having a bad reaction to ‘smoke’.
The body of Gross of Summit, NJ, was discovered last week when a garbage truck dumped her load into a Pennsylvania landfill, her mother told NJ.com on Thursday.

Françoise Gross said her daughter, a communications sophomore at State College in Pennsylvania, jumped off the slide into a dumpster she lived in at Beaver Terrace Apartments, one block from campus.
The heartbroken mother said Justine’s roommate told her that her daughter had met a young man two days before she gave him a ‘smoke’ before her fatal fall.
The man believed to be a college student living on the building’s seventh floor told Justine’s mother that her daughter ran upstairs and jumped into the case after taking the unspecified drug that she had taken.
“She said a little casually, ‘She came down and I gave him a cigarette,'” Francoise said. “She said that she had a terrible reaction, panic or something, and tried to take her back to her apartment on the 10th floor.”

State College police said Gross’s death was an accident, but her mother is not entirely convinced, NJ.com reported.
The teenager wrote a message on Snapchat shortly before her fateful accident telling a friend, “Something just happened.”
The footage shows Justine leaving her tenth-floor apartment and approaching the man on the seventh floor, whom she then limps off. She never returned to her apartment; she ran alone into the 11th-floor garbage chute and disappeared, NJ.com reported.
“It’s just not Justine,” her mother said. “She would never do something like that, she would fall.”
“You want me to believe that she came in this fall. I think someone was chasing her and she entered the waterfall thinking it was a flight of stairs.”
“I’ll bury him,” Françoise Gross told NJ.com. “But I want to know what happened to her.”

As per the report, Françoise said that the police questioned the man twice, but that she “did not speak” after hiring a lawyer.
State University police did not respond to phone calls Thursday, NJ.com reported.
A Penn State spokeswoman said Justine’s death occurred off-campus and that it would be “inappropriate” for the university to stop the investigation.
