Justin Trudeau Calls Canadian Election 2021, Vote Polling Day is 20th Sep
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called elections amid a new wave of COVID to capitalize on the fact that Canada is one of the most vaccinated countries in the world.
Trudeau is aiming for a majority of seats in parliament.
His Liberal Party failed to achieve this goal two years ago and has to give in to the opposition to pass a law.
The election comes as Canada experiences a fourth wave of COVID-19 cases fueled by the Delta variant of the coronavirus.
