Joseph Brockhouse was the youngest fisherman to catch a fish over 100 pounds in British waters after catching a ninth giant sturgeon, which weighed more than him.
Brockhouse struggled for 30 minutes to bring the 126-pound animal to the surface on a camping trip with his father and his little brother last month.
He had been fishing for two days on a private 10-acre lake near Manchester when he landed the precious fish that was 26 inches taller and 2.5 stones taller than him.

Father Lee, 43, and his brother Alex, 10, had to help lift the six-foot-long monster to pose for a photo before throwing it into the water.
Incredibly, Joseph also managed to break two more personal records over the weekend by landing a cockroach and a barbell weighing over 2 pounds.
Lee, a married father of three from Nuneaton, Warks, said: “To say I was very happy is an understatement.”
“We spent two days on a private lake owned by my friend and Joe had a very successful trip.”
“He was delighted to set two personal records for cockroach and perch, and one Sunday morning he got this sturgeon.”
“My friend told me he’s there, but it’s a 10-acre lake, so we thought maybe we should find something, and even then we had to catch it.”

Joseph hooked the sturgeon with a halibut pellet and a 3.5-pound pole and was able to fetch the catch himself on the shore of the lake.
Caregiver Lee added: “It took him about 30 minutes but he made it; He impressed me because it was a great fight.”
“I don’t know if he would have known what to do at his age, but he has been fishing since he was six years old, so he did it like an expert.”
“We all did well and we caught 80 fish in the two days.”
“We fish day and night and stay in tents. It was a brilliant trip. This recording capped off a great weekend.”
Joseph, who turned 12 since last month’s fishing trip, said: “He gave me a fantastic fight and it took me 30 minutes to land.”
“When we installed it, my father and brother had to help me collect the fish for a photo.”
“We had 80 fish between us in that session, and I also had roaches and perch that weighed up to 2 pounds and five carp over 20 pounds.”
