It’s hard to imagine Camilla sitting on the throne with Prince Charles: Princess Diana’s father
Public opinion is divided following the Queen’s recent announcement that Camilla will become queen when Prince Charles ascends the throne.
A friend of the late Princess Diana has admitted it would be hard to imagine the Duchess of Cornwall ascending the throne alongside the Prince of Wales.
Speaking to the Mail, Diana’s friend said: “I still have a hard time imagining Camilla Parker Bowles sitting on a throne next to King Charles.”

“I always believed that if Diana and Charles had had more years to work out their problems, maybe it would have worked.”
In fact, Prince Charles was even involved with Camilla while he was married to Princess Diana.
She has been known as the Princess of Wales since Prince Charles and Camilla were married, but she did not use the title out of respect after Diana’s tragic death.
