Ionut Valentin Boboc and Jacob-Bebe Chers are charged with double murder. Both were charged with the deaths of Fahad Hossain Paramanik and Denzil McKenzie. The bodies were found in a living room with a “gloomy vision”, the court heard today.
Boboc admitted to killing McKenzie but denied killing Pramanik. Chers, who is close to her co-defendant, denied both murders in court.

What Were The Details Of An Incident?
Boboc, 22, and Jacob Bebe Chers, 46, are on trial for the double murders of Denzil McKenzie and Fahad Hossain Paramanik.
The uncovered remains of the victims had been partially dismembered and found aged 56 in McKenzie’s Wood Street home.
Both were stabbed multiple times, some of the horrific injuries resembling techniques used by slaughterhouse workers to slaughter animals.
Mr. Stephen Dent KC opened the case to prosecutors and said on the night of September 11 last year that the defendants, both Romanian nationals, visited Mr McKenzie’s home in Easton, Bristol.
Boboc borrowed money from McKenzie in exchange for sexual favors. On the night of the murders, prosecutors allege that he entered “wrongly.”
Although the two defendants did not identify Mr. Pramanik, 27, it is said that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Dent said the defendants stabbed him multiple times while he was inside.
Dent told jurors the victims left a horrifying scene with the dead and mutilated bodies of Fahad Paramanik and Denzil McKenzie.
“Both men were stabbed multiple times while trying to defend themselves.”
“Denzil McKinzie sustained 23 stab wounds, the most serious to his neck. He also had evidence that he had been tortured in extreme pain, having severe pain inflicted on him with cuts around his eyes and on his eyeball.”
‘METER Pramanik was stabbed at least three times in the stomach and back. Also, his body showed signs of willful pain and suffering. These included cutting a foamy substance down his nose and numerous spots and scratches on his body.
Both men’s bodies were still mutilated after their deaths, as you will hear. Mr. McKenzie’s thigh was severed and Mr. Pramanik’s abdomen was ripped open, exposing his entrails.
The bodies had been gruesomely exposed. One body lay on the sofa, the other on the floor. The foot of one of them was stuck in the open abdominal wound of another.
What Was The Trial?
According to the court, Boboc was 21 and his co-defendant was 45. They were friends who had worked together on a slaughterhouse production line outside of Bristol.
Dent said part of his job is cutting open the pigs, making a long incision in the stomach, and then removing the intestines from the pig.
The jury viewed CCTV footage showing Boboc and Chers walking one way at 8:30 p.m. the night of the murders and back the same way at 11 p.m.
After the killings, footage showed them walking out with large items such as amplifiers and audio equipment. They also had stolen jewelry with them.
Mr. Dent said: “It is undisputed that these two defendants, after being out of sight, entered Mr. McKenzie’s house; there were only four people in these four walls.”
“At the time of his death, the only people remaining in the home were the two accused.”
Together they are accused of murder.
