Internet Speed Came Back To Normal in Pakistan, Says PTA
The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA) said on Thursday that internet speeds in the country had returned to normal.
Noting slow internet in Pakistan on Tuesday, the PTA said power reconfiguration activity would take place on a section of the international submarine cable SMW4 at certain times on Wednesday.
However, the agency has now announced that the power supply reconfiguration activity is complete. He said the task was completed around 3 am. Thursday as planned.

The PTA said it was scheduled routine maintenance.
In February, a severed cable in an undersea cable system nearly 400km off the coast of Pakistan also caused a nationwide internet outage.
