In Dubai, There Will Be A Moon On A Skyscraper
The Mirror reported that a resort in Dubai is planning to build an artificial moon on top of a tall structure. Canadian businessman Michael Henderson is leading the “Luna” project, which involves building a sphere on top of a 30-meter-long structure.
The goal of this project is to allow users to have the experience of being on a satellite without having to leave the planet. The makers believe the artificial moon will attract more than 2.5 million visitors a year and generate over £1.5 billion in sales. Moon World Resorts will provide funding of £4.28 billion.
Henderson underscored the international recognition of the Dubai brand by expressing confidence in the success of the project. Inside the moon will be a complex with a 4,000-room hotel, a 10,000-seat stadium, a nightclub, and a spa.
In addition, visitors can experience what it would be like to orbit a “lunar colony” on the moon. When illuminated at night, a full, crescent, or crescent moon also appears on the artificial moon.
