IESCO Issues Load Shedding Plan For Multiple Areas
On Monday, Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) announced a planned Tuesday power outage in several areas under its jurisdiction.
The temporary suspension is required for essential maintenance and regular development work.
An IESCO spokesman said power to various outlets and stations on the network will remain suspended from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Islamabad County, which includes I-11/1, I-11/3, Metro, Sohdran Road . Feeders, Rawalpindi City Circle, Nogzi, Bajnyal, Mohanpura Feeders, Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, Chahan, Chontra, Rajar, Chakri, SPD, SPF Feeders, Jhelum Circle, Mandi Bhalwal, F-3 Gul Afshan Feeders.
In addition, Attack Circle and the surrounding areas will experience a power outage on the Kala Khan power line from 08:00 to 13:00.
This temporary interruption is necessary to perform routine maintenance that will help ensure uninterrupted power supply in the future. IESCO customers in these areas are asked to take necessary precautions and take other precautions during the power outage.
IESCO regrets any inconvenience caused and assures its customers that everything is being done to complete the maintenance work as soon as possible and to restore normal power supply.
