How To Apply For Residence Visa For New Born Baby in Dubai?
Expat parents in Dubai must apply for a residency visa for their newborn child within 120 days of the birth. The authorities do not allow a child to leave the country after 120 days. In addition, a fine will be imposed for each additional day.
A parent must earn at least AED 4,000 per month to sponsor a child in Dubai, UAE.
Residence Visa For New Born Baby in UAE
- Visit the Amer Center and fill out an application form.
- Submit the form and documents below to the Directorate-General for Foreign Affairs and Residency (DDRFA) in Dubai.
- After 5 business days, the residence visa will be delivered to the applicant’s address.

Other Necessary Details Required
If the children are supported by the wife, a certificate of no objection (NOC) signed by the father or certified proof of custody must be enclosed. This requirement is necessary to obtain a residency visa for the newborn in Dubai.
If one of the partners wants to invite his family, the documents are the same, except for the employment contract, which is not required.
