HEC Undergraduate Scholarships

The application process has been streamlined to ensure that every eligible student can easily provide their information without encountering any complications, thanks to the user-friendly procedure implemented by HEC, in line with the recommendations of the Government of Pakistan. Eligibility Criteria
To facilitate your understanding of the eligibility criteria, here’s a breakdown. If you meet these criteria, you can proceed with the registration process, securing a monthly scholarship to cover your educational expenses:
- Possession of a domicile/locality certificate from Gwadar, Lasbela/Hub, Kech (Torbat), or Awaran district of Balochistan.
- Successful completion of both Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or their equivalents.
- Completion of 12 years of education with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Completion of SSC and HSSC or their equivalents from a college/institute located in any designated district of Balochistan (Gwadar, Lasbela/Hub, Kech (Turbat), and Awaran).
- Admission to a BS program for a maximum of one academic year/session before the scholarship advertisement is eligible.
- Applicant’s age should not exceed 22 years as of the last date.
- Applicants already benefiting from any other HEC/Government scholarship are ineligible.
- Fulfillment of HEC and respective university criteria for admission.
- Applicants awaiting results are not eligible to apply.
Important Notes
- Scholarships will be awarded based on merit and district quota.
- Shortlisting will be based on educational credentials and aptitude test scores conducted by HEC.
- Applicants must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the HEC-conducted aptitude test.
- The scholarship merit list will be prepared based on online information provided by applicants, with any misrepresentation leading to cancellation at any stage.
How to Apply Online:
- Submit online applications on the HEC website.
- No hard copies of applications or documents are required at this stage.
- Pay a non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 500 at Habib Bank Limited (Account No: 1742 7900 1334 01, Account Title: Higher Education Commission, Branch Code: 1742).
- Upload the original bank payment record/slip with the online application and present it at the examination center for the test.
- Submit the online application after completing the form; incomplete applications will not be considered.
- HEC reserves the right to postpone or cancel the scholarship process at any stage without assigning a reason.
