This year, the Islamiat exam for Grade 9 has been updated to a 100-mark paper, as announced by the educational boards. Schools have been informed about the new format and duration, which will now be three hours.
For students appearing as fresh candidates, the Islamiat compulsory paper will follow this revised structure. To help students prepare, the Punjab Textbook Board has published a model paper, which is now available on the websites of all educational boards.
Previously, Islamiat and Pakistan Studies were conducted as two separate 50-mark exams. This change streamlines the process, combining the marks and focus into a single comprehensive paper.
