Federal Govt Launches Pakistan’s Largest “Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship Program” Under HEC
Prime Minister Imran Khan has introduced the “Largest Undergraduate Scholarship Program” in history of govt based on Pakistan’s needs as part of the Ehsaas program.
The vision behind the 200,000 scholarships in the next four years is the development of human capital.
50% of the scholarships are reserved for students.
I will launch the largest ever needs-based undergraduate scholarship programme in the history of Pakistan today. 200,000 scholarships will be awarded over the next 4 years, 50,000 every year, 50% of these for women to promote human capital development under my @Ehsaas_Pk umbrella

At the launching ceremony, Imran Khan said the lack of educational and employment opportunities was leading young people to crimes.

Under this program, 50,000 scholarships will be awarded to deserving students, particularly in disadvantaged areas of the country. Scholarships awarded by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will be applied in participating universities and colleges of the public and private sectors.

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is December 10, 2019. According to reports, the scholarship covers tuition and allowances for low-income families with high incomes.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the scholarship program are listed below:
- These undergraduate scholarships are applicable to the public sector and to the participating nonprofit colleges and universities of the private sector.
- Students admitted to merit in a public sector university
- Family income must be below the poverty line
Procedure To Apply Online
Follow the steps below to apply for the Ehsaas Scholarship Program:
- Apply online at the HEC portal to get an Ehsaas scholarship
- Send the completed forms to the Financial Aid Office (FAO) of the university in question.
- Applications sent directly to HEC or BISP will not be processed.
