Bodybuilder George Peterson reportedly died on 6th October 2021, as per an announcement from Olympia LLC.
A native of New York City, Peterson, known as “Da Bull,” became famous in classical physics. He earned his IFBB Pro card by winning the NPC National Championship in that division in 2016.

Peterson died suddenly this week at the age of 37, just days before his scheduled date to participate in one of the major bodybuilding competitions.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected death of George Peterson, a champion on and offstage,” the managers of the Mr. Olympia competition announced on social media.
Peterson was in Orlando when he died in preparation for the Olympic competition that begins Wednesday.
The cause of George’s death is not yet clear, but his trainer and close friend Justin Miller, who found Peterson dead, has shared more details about his death.
Miller says Peterson was in an incredible state of mind and motivated for the upcoming competition the day before he died.
However, Miller says the family doctor didn’t respond to text messages or phone calls the next day, so he got worried and went to George’s hotel room.
Inside, Peterson was tragically face down, as if frozen. Even so, desperate to help his friend, Miller called 911 and was instructed to perform CPR.
Unfortunately, Peterson, who had probably died several hours earlier, was unable to save himself.
His Professional Career
Peterson’s first professional win came in 2017 at the Tampa Pro, and in the same year he moved up to the third place at the Classic Physique Olympia.
After finishing second in a row in the top three at Olympia in 2018, he entered and won the 2019 Arnold Classic Physics competition in Columbus, OH. Once again, Peterson took an impressive third place at the 2019 Olympics.
George was a constant figure on the bodybuilding scene and participated in four shows across the country, including the Olympics.
Peterson won the Classic Physique competition at the 2019 Arnold Classic.
After the 2019 season, Peterson announced he was moving to the 212 Division due to difficulty gaining weight in classical physics.
He started his career in the new division the same way he did in the previous one: he won the 2020 Tampa Pro.
He also finished his first season in 212 in the same way as in the Classic Physique, finishing third in the Olympics. Shaun Clarida won the O 2020 title.
