French Star Léa Seydoux has tested positive for COVID-19 and is leaving her trip to the Cannes International Film Festival for the debut of her four films in doubt, multiple reports said Saturday.
Seydoux, who is slated to be one of the stars of this year’s festival, was originally scheduled to arrive in Cannes on Friday for press events and premieres of the films she starred in.

But those plans have now been canceled after she decided to stay home in Paris on the advice of her doctors as a precaution.
Films include French Dispatch (released Monday night), Deception (Tuesday), The Story of My Wife (Wednesday), and France (Thursday).
Variety reported that the star has signed on to COVID-19 to produce a running movie. A spokesperson for the actress confirmed to Variety that she, despite having full vaccination and asymptomatic symptoms, tested positive for COVID-19.

Seydoux will remain in quarantine until doctors deem it safe to travel, the spokesperson added.
