According to Sindh Prime Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, the provincial cabinet has approved Rs 20 billion in Ramadan relief funds for 7,810,482 low-income families enrolled in the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP).

As part of Sindh’s Ramadan Relief Package, low-income families can buy a Rs 20 lakh grant of which Rs 2000 was given during Ramadan at Rs 65 per kg for 30 kilograms (kg) of flour.
Those who have not yet registered for the Ehsaas or BISP but feel they are eligible should contact the nearest BISP registration center and submit their information. He added that there is a BISP office in each tehsil in the province.

It should be noted that all other provinces and the federal capital have already announced the Ramadan Relief Package for the holy month. On the other hand, all other provinces provide their citizens with 3 sacks of wheat flour for free instead of a cash allowance like the Sindh government.

The Sindh government began supplying flour to the people from flour stalls on preferential terms across the province. The flour is available today across Sindh at a reduced price of 700 points, people can buy flour for Rs 65 per kg, and the flour is available in 5 and 10-kg sacks.
