Flyadeal to Launch First Scheduled Flights to Pakistan

Last Updated on: 26th December 2024, 07:58 pm

Saudi low-cost airline Flyadeal has announced its first scheduled flights to Pakistan which will start from February 2, 2025. The carrier will connect Karachi, Pakistan’s bustling commercial hub, with Riyadh and Jeddah through twice-weekly flights. This move is part of Flyadeal’s broader international growth plan and marks its debut in both Pakistan and South Asia.

Flyadeal’s CEO, Steven Greenway, shared that Karachi is just the beginning, with plans to include more Pakistani cities in the future. He expressed gratitude to Pakistani authorities and the airline’s planning team for making this expansion possible. Greenway highlighted the strong cultural and historical ties between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, as well as the growing demand for air travel driven by business, pilgrimage, and family connections.

Earlier this year, Flyadeal successfully operated Hajj charters to Pakistan, which Greenway sees as a key stepping stone. “These new routes to Karachi are an exciting addition to our network and mark our entry into South Asia with regular services,” he said.

Tickets for flights to Karachi are now available through the airline’s website and other official channels.

Expanding Horizons

Flyadeal is prioritizing international growth as its fleet expands. Over the next year, the airline plans to add more destinations across South Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. This strategy aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to attract millions of tourists annually.
